"Volunteering on RightRides/SafeWalk with
Craig was the best introduction to Brooklyn I could have wished for.
Back then I was coming out from Jersey every Thursday night, just
to ride around and see Brooklyn and flier bars for safewalk, and
hopefully get a beer with Craig and Veebs and maybe Nevy, Leah, or
Ian at the end of the night.
Craig loved to ride, to hang out, to talk to people, and to get them home safe--
so what a perfect project for him...He figured there were people like
him out riding around to bars anyway, so why not organize them to do what he
loved: walk people home safely after a night of partying.
With his volunteer
spirit and totally infectious good will, he was a great organizer, even when
he was a little disorganized :) A more kind, fun-loving, easy-going, open-hearted
guy I never knew." - Rachel, SafeWalk volunteer '06
Craig,
you
will be incredibly missed. Our deepest condolences to his
family and loved ones.
