RIGHTRIDES FOR WOMEN'S SAFETY


RightRides is honord with the Pacesetter Award March 2006: New York City Council Member Diana Reyna nominated our organization for exemplifying the spirit of New York City in community service.

RightRides offers women, transgender and gender queer individuals a free, safe, late night ride home on Saturday nights from 11:59 PM - 3 AM, early Sunday morning in 35 NYC neighborhoods. To call for a ride, the dispatch number is (718) 964-7781.

Since 2004, RightRides has driven over 1,000 riders safely home, thanks to hundreds of dedicated volunteers and our vehicle sponsor, Zipcar.

Individual contributions make RightRides happen. Donate now, 100% of your gift will go directly to giving safe rides home.

$25 = one volunteer driver's annual Zipcar membership
$50 = one driving team cell phone, for a month
$75 = one year of supplies for a driving team
